Save A Child's Heart YLG

Valentine’s Day was extra special this year for the SACH YLG Executive Board as we hosted a trio of dignitaries from Israel and celebrated their support of Save a Child’s Heart.

On Tuesday, February 14, we were honored to have Vice Prime Minister Silvan Shalom, United Nations Ambassador Ron Prosor, and Consul General Ido Aharoni, with special guest SACH Chief Surgeon Emeritus Dr. Arie Schachner, at a private Valentine’s Day event at Select Space in New York City!

We also had seventy-five of our most committed supporters, including SACH donors and Young Leadership board members, in attendance.

Vice Prime Minister Shalom spoke about his long relationship with SACH and the Ministry of Regional Development’s partnership with SACH’s “The Heart of the Matter” program, as well as his desire to provide funding for the forthcoming SACH Pediatric Cardiology Center. Guests were treated to delicious wine and appetizing Mezze and there was a spirit of love in the air as we toasted the SACH mission of saving children from all over the world, one heart at a time.
